TEAM ID
Each SOUNDBOKS comes with a unique TEAM ID, which is the number you will find on the top of your speaker (see picture below). The TEAM-ID is your individual serial number, and it is also the number you want to connect to when playing with Bluetooth, from your phone/tablet.
MEASUREMENTS
The SOUNDBOKS (Gen. 1) measurements are listed below.
COMPATIBLE DEVICES
You can plug in your chosen device, phone, tablet etc. using the 3.5mm AUX/Jack cable, or you can connect directly with Bluetooth. Bluetooth has evolved over the years, now on version 5.0, so most devices should be compatible with the 3.0 Bluetooth module in the SOUNDBOKS, but keep in mind that potential variations in frequency can have an impact on the connection, and companies may start to drop support for the older Bluetooth models as new devices are released.
The Bluetooth module is ON when the SOUNDBOKS is ON. This means that both AUX/Jack and Bluetooth connections can run simultaneously. One input will not block the other, however, it will play on top of each other. In the case of bystanders connecting to your Bluetooth, while being connected with the AUX simply restart the speaker.
BLUETOOTH
The Bluetooth module automatically activates when the SOUNDBOKS is ON, and you should be able to connect instantly after the light indication appears on the SOUNDBOKS. If you have trouble connecting a Bluetooth device to your SOUNDBOKS, please make sure that you are within range and your device is Bluetooth 3.0 capable, try to reset the Bluetooth settings on the chosen device (Phone, Computer etc.), and try removing the Bluetooth name from your device and re-adding it.
The Bluetooth connection can stay stable at a distance of up to 20 meters with free line-of-sight (no objects blocking the connection).
