How do Stereo Roles work?
In audio setups with multiple speakers, "Stereo Roles" are like the jobs that each speaker does to make your sound experience awesome:
- Left Speaker: This speaker handles sounds meant to come from your left side. It helps create that sense of direction and space in your audio.
- Right Speaker: On the other side, the "Right" speaker takes care of sounds coming from your right side. Together with the left speaker, they make your music, movies, and games sound super immersive, like you're right in the middle of the action!
Note: On the Soundboks 3 and Soundboks 4, the inputs on the Pro Panel are hard-coded to specific channels. Channel 1 (Ch1) is assigned as the Left channel, and Channel 2 (Ch2) is assigned as the Right channel.
Because of this, it is important to match your Stereo Role with the input you are using. For example, if you plug your audio source into CH1 but assign that speaker the Right role in the app, you won’t hear any sound.
