Power, Wattage & Voltage
The Soundboks Mix delivers 72 W RMS to the woofer and 20 W RMS to the tweeter.
The woofer is custom-designed specifically for the Mix and includes a built-in bass enhancer, helping it produce deeper and more controlled low frequencies.
The tweeter is also designed for high efficiency. In speaker design, efficiency is key — it allows the driver to produce higher sound pressure levels while using less power. In simple terms: louder sound, without wasting energy.
When we mention wattage on our website, we refer to RMS watts. This is the industry-standard way of measuring the continuous power the amplifier can deliver to the speakers.
However, wattage alone doesn’t define how loud a speaker can play. In audio, volume is officially measured in decibels (dB).
The Soundboks Mix can reach up to 121 dB.

Voltage & Battery
The Soundboks Mix runs on a custom-designed 12.8 V LiFePO4 battery (The Battery).
The Battery charges via USB-C, and for the fastest charging, we recommend using a 65 W USB-C PD charger, which can fully charge the battery in about 2 hours. Using lower-power chargers will still work, but charging will take longer.
The Soundboks Mix is also compatible with the same battery used in the other Soundboks speakers.
To achieve higher output with minimal distortion, the speaker automatically converts the battery’s 12.8 V to 24 V when needed. This happens through an integrated DC-DC converter that activates when the music reaches higher levels.
Powering your Soundboks Mix
The battery must always be inserted for the speaker to operate.
You can also play music while charging. When connected to a 65 W USB-C PD charger, the speaker can keep playing while charging the battery, so the music doesn’t have to stop when the party keeps going.
