Woofer
We designed the 10” mid-bass woofer in-house. It features a new motor system and optimized cone geometry that reduce distortion in the midrange (that’s where vocals and instruments live).
What that means in real life: clearer vocals, tighter mids, and less harshness, even when you’re pushing volume.
Tweeter
The 1.2” soft dome tweeter sits inside a custom horn that controls how sound spreads into the room. It boosts efficiency and keeps the highs smooth and detailed.
The larger dome helps reduce distortion, so your top end stays sweet, not harsh.
Bass-Reflex Enclosure
The front-facing bass port increases low-end efficiency and punch. It’s protected behind the grille and positioned higher up to avoid dust, dirt, and whatever else your party throws at it.
More bass. No drama.
Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
The Soundboks Mix is fully active, powered by a dedicated DSP chip — basically the brain of the speaker.
This gives us way more control than traditional passive designs.
Digital crossovers precisely manage how sound is sent to the woofer and tweeter. They’re more accurate and more power-efficient, which really matters when you’re running on battery.
Dynamic adjustments mean the Mix adapts to volume. At mid-levels, you get extra warmth and punch (depending on your EQ profile). Crank it up, and the system automatically protects the amp, reduces distortion, and optimizes battery life.
It always sounds like it should, just louder.
Thermal protection uses built-in sensors and smart algorithms to monitor temperature and protect the electronics. If things get hot, the Mix adjusts itself to stay reliable.
Because cutting the music early? Not the vibe.
EQ profiles: Letting you tailor the sound to your space, your setup, and your session.
