Just got your Soundboks Mix and ready to go bigger? TeamUp lets you connect multiple Soundboks speakers so they all play the same music, perfect for larger setups.
To TeamUp speakers manually, one speaker needs to act as the HOST, while the others join as JOIN speakers.
TeamUp Manual setup
- Turn on the speaker you want to use as the HOST
- Press the TeamUp button until the HOST LED lights up
- On the other speakers, press the TeamUp button until they enter JOIN mode
Once connected, simply connect your phone to the HOST speaker via Bluetooth and start playing. Your music will automatically play through all speakers in the TeamUp.
TeamUp Soundboks App
Using the app makes TeamUp even easier.
In the setup screen, you can create a team with simple drag-and-drop controls:
- Drag speakers onto another speaker to make them join it
- The speaker you drop onto becomes the HOST
- The speakers you drag become JOIN speakers
If you want to remove a speaker from the team, tap the team and drag the speaker away to detach it.

Understanding the Bond button
Right below the TeamUp button, you’ll find the button with two arrows. This is the Bond button, which manages how speakers connect and remember each other.
When a speaker is in JOIN mode, the Bond LED shows its connection status:
Green
The speaker is connected to one of its saved HOST speakers.
Speakers are automatically added to this list after playing together for around 30 minutes, or you can add them manually by pressing and holding the Bond button.
To remove a saved speaker, press the Bond button twice.
Amber
The speaker is searching for available HOST speakers that aren’t saved yet.
Which Soundboks speakers can I TeamUp together?
Soundboks allows to TeamUp freely between the Soundboks 3, Soundboks 4, Soundboks Go and Soundboks Mix.
Having issues getting your speakers connected?
If a JOIN speaker doesn’t connect, you can reset the current connection with the following steps:
- Press the Bond button 6 times
- The Bond LED will blink red and then return to amber
The speaker will now search for available HOST speakers again.
