Can I use my Soundboks charger to charge and power the Lightboks?
Yes, if it is a USB-C charger. A DC plug charger will not fit.
Does the microphone listen to me or my conversations?
No. The microphone is programmed to pick up audio signals and detect frequency and changes in dynamics. It’s not picking up on your private conversations. Your Lightboks does not record or transmit audio.
Can I use my Lightboks with speakers that aren’t Soundboks?
Yes! Lightboks listens to any audio source! You can use it with any speaker. It will be a little easier to use a Soundboks, as you can control the speaker and the Lightboks from the same app.
How long does Lightboks play?
If you play on max brightness with Energy Level 3, Lightboks lasts around 14 hours. If you play on max brightness but on level 2, it will last around 10 hours.
(Keep in mind: The higher the energy level, the less the light is being used! This this is due to the fact there’s much more light being emitted when you’re on Energy level 1, where the vibe is smooth and the light effects ease into each other. In contrast you have shorter light bursts on level 3, which means that the light isn’t on all the time.
Does Lightboks connect to a Soundboks with TeamUp?
No! Your Lightboks picks up the music through its built-in microphone, so you don'd need to connect them. TeamUp in the App is only for linking and syncing multiple Lightboks together for a more immersive experience. For best results, place the “Host” Lightboks where the music is clearest.
How do I reset the Lightboks?
Sometimes the Lightboks shows irregular LEDs or may not be responding to inputs on the UI panel. You can reset it by lifting the rubber UBS-C cover and pressing the reset button for at least 1 second: the reset button is the small hole next to the USB port (use a small pin or needle).
