Fine-tuning your sound with the Pro Panel
When you connect an audio device to either CH1 or CH2, you gain the power to fine-tune your sound with ease:
When you connect an audio device to either CH1 or CH2, you gain the power to shape your sound using 6 different sound bands. These bands cover the low (bass), mid, and high (treble) frequencies.
To make your sound just right, it's as easy as moving the levers up and down for the Equalizer and left to right for the Gain.
With these simple adjustments, you can create your ideal sound experience, tailored to your preferences.
Understanding frequency and volume range
When you fine-tune your sound:
Imagine the vertical Y-axis representing frequencies, measured in hertz (Hz).
On the horizontal X-axis, you control volume adjustments (dB), ranging from -10 dB to +10 dB.
All your changes are saved automatically and stored in your SOUNDBOKS for the next time you connect a device.
What is the “gain” range?
Gain is like your volume control, and its range depends on your SOUNDBOKS model:
For SOUNDBOKS 4, you can adjust the gain within a range from -12 dB (to make it quieter) to +12 dB (to make it louder).
In the case of SOUNDBOKS 3, the gain range spans from 0 dB (normal volume) to +10 dB (to make it louder).
